Evaluating your Options

The continental breakfast buffet is included with the price of your room.

Because our farm is isolated, "going out" can involve quite a drive. Therefore, we offer some additional options so that you can assemble the plan that suits you best. You can select one of our delicious home-cooked farm meals, featuring local products -- for a modest additional cost. We do need a bit of notice on these so that we can plan, shop, etc.

These additional meals include a variety of farmhand brunch selections and traditional farm family dinner selections. You could also dine out locally (perhaps combine a scenic drive with the trip to a restaurant).

Continental Breakfast Buffet

This self-serve breakfast (included in the price of your room) consists of fresh fruit, a variety of breads to toast, jelly/jam (and other yummy toast toppings), cold cereal, dried fruit, juice, milk, coffee and tea. You are not required to keep our schedule. Before you turn in for the night, let us know approximately when you plan to get up. We put out the "parts" shortly before that, and you can assemble the breakfast that suits you.

Farmhand Brunch

This is an "all out" country feast -- featuring freshly collected eggs (you can gather them yourself). All brunches also include breakfast potatoes, a variety of breads to toast, jelly/jam, meat (if listed as part of the option you select), juice, milk, coffee and tea.

Brunch Examples

  • Sausage gravy and biscuits, with fried eggs
  • Tarragon Creamed Eggs and biscuits with bacon, sausage or ham*
  • Custom Omelets (cheese/herb/garden-vegetable) with bacon, sausage or ham*
  • * Vegetarian versions are available.

Brunch Pricing

  • $7 per adult
  • $4 per child, 5 through 12
  • Ages 4 and under are free, when sharing meals purchased by accompanying adults

Family Dinners

We feature local products wherever possible. Dinners Include a selected meat (or meat substitute), starch (potato, rice, pasta), seasonal vegetables/salad, fresh bread, milk, coffee, and dessert.

Dinner Examples

  • Lamb, Beef, Chicken or Venison (all are usually available, in some format)
  • Meatloaf (usually Beef & Pork -- but, we can leave the pork out, if you wish)
  • Pasta Dishes (noodles, spaghetti, ravioli, etc.)*
  • * Vegetarian versions available.

Family Dinner Pricing

  • $10 per adult
  • $5 per child, 5 through 12
  • Ages 4 and under are free, when sharing meals purchased by accompanying adults

  • Wellsville (10 mi., 16-20 min.)
  • Hornell (18 mi., 30-35 min.)
  • Corning (50 mi., 55-65 min.)
  • Elmira (66 mi., 85-90 min.)
  • Rochester (80 mi., 90+ min.)

Note: the distances and times are for one way. "Local" for us may not mean the same as local does for you. The closest shopping mall to the farm is in Elmira, NY.

The under 30-minute (each way) dining options include a Mennonite Deli, Pan-Asian Buffet, Texas-Hot & Greek, Japanese-Inspired, and all American (Steak and Roast Beef). We can help you with selection and maps, as needed.
